We had posted some questions to Vikas as a part of his #ATAMyStory

1. Why do you think speaking at #ATAGTR2019 really matters to you?

I believe #ATAGTR2019 is a conference where I see a lot of great speakers, topics and audience joining in which wants to push the envelope on value of QA and how we can be ready for technologies of today and future. I want to contribute in my little way to this knowledge sharing and learn from experiences of others.

2. Do you think that organizations and individuals should go out and mingle more in community programs?

It’s probably one of the biggest things overlooked by organization sand leaders on value such community programs can bring to an organization and individuals. Such events helps you to grow yourself as an individual, gain peer recognition and bring value to your organization in terms of attracting good talent or showcase your culture.

3. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work

One practice which has helped me a lot in recent times is to disconnect from world and work for a minimum of 30 min every day. It helps me to clear my mind, unwind and think clearly what I want to achieve today. Live day by day but plan for future.

My advice to people joining the industry or stuck at a point

Don’t look for monetary gains always look for what value you bring to yourself, your company and ecosystem around you. If you are adding value then other worldly things will follow.

Vikas is passionate about helping others grow and make it worthwhile for anyone to be on my teams or for working with me. Know people as individuals and not as resources or customers
