Archana will be presenting a Skit on “Agile Process Implementation – Addressing Common Challenges” on Day 2

We had posted some questions to Archana as a part of his #ATAMyStory

1. Why should someone choose testing as a career? Or what does testing really mean to you?

Testing is an exciting career where a tester can deliver bug free product to the customer with wholehearted satisfaction with all the defined processes. In my words, I define testing as patience and practice to hand over a bug free product with all the quality gates met as per the customer’s requirements.

2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work

I believe that every day, someone will teach us something and someone will learn something; either it is from their mistakes or experiences. I made my team to interact with each other at least for 15 minutes every day so that they will share their thoughts and experiences on the process and challenges they face. When we share the things, we learn more. When we are with the team, we become strong to face the challenges. My team became strong after this practice.

3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it ? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same

There is no specific challenging bug or issue as every time, I take up a task, I look at the task with my 360-degree eyes to cover up all the scenarios and I will always make sure that no bug is popping up in the production and until now, I never failed to deliver outside of my deadlines. I feel proud to be a testing champ.

4. Anything else you want to share

With all the experiences counting here with my current company, I feel proud to be part of cognizant family where testing career is given utmost importance. I want to count many more years and want to learn and share many more experiences.
Thanks to my all the project teams whom I have worked till now in all the accounts in Cognizant!!!
