We had posted some questions to Nandan as a part of his #ATAMyStory
1. Why do you think speaking at #ATAGTR2019 really matters to you?
Speaking at ATAGR2019 will give a great opportunity to interact and share knowhow on different aspects of Quality Engineering. You can only get to learn on specific project or portfolio in your work however, you can learn a lot from others experiences especially others working newer trends and advance solutions. You can express your views, knowhow, test your thought process and further gain first hand feedback from audience.
2. Do you think that organizations and individuals should go out and mingle more in community programs?
We are confined to day-to-day work and challenges we are subjected to in our own world. A good number of them are due to mindsets, inefficiencies, process issues etc. (environment stability may be next one). Community programs offers you interactions, to know views, to gauge direction from leaders and to network with individuals and organizations doing fantastic work. It also offers a mirror to the work you are doing and proves how relevant you and your work and solutions are in the context of entire industry practices.
3. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work
In my role, I get of either a request, enquiry, problem statement or specific customer requirement on daily basis. Some of these then end up into solution building and full-scale implementation by project teams. This gives an opportunity to interact with project teams and learn from them.
