We had posted some questions to Srikar as a part of his #ATAMyStory

1. Why should someone choose testing as a career? Or what does testing really mean to you?

Providing a quality product to end customer makes me proud and happy. Acting as an end user, it is a privilege for every project or product before releasing we have to do the testing becoz it will more helpful to the customers. Before testing if we release the product in the market it will harmful to the company as well as the customers.

2. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work

Every day in office someone will teach us something and someone will learn something; either it is from their mistakes or experiences. Communication within team will help us to think in different ways to do testing and we share the information to reach the expectation placed on us.

3. The most challenging bug or issue that I have found and learnings from it ? Or The most challenging testing task that I have done and how I accomplished the same

I have faced few issues in my initial days, in every day learning I still do mistakes to learn new thing from that so that can be helpful to grow by learning from mistakes . I faced many challenging issues while doing testing with help of teammates I could be able to solve them mostly.

4. Anything else you want to share

I believe it’s important for testers to know the market that their client or their employer is in and the reason for that is if you understand what risks your client is facing and you understand what the competing products are and where the challenges lie in the market, you can plan your testing accordingly.
